Jess

Speech Pathologist

Jess is a Speech Pathologist supporting children and families to develop confident, functional communication skills. She holds a Master of Speech Pathology alongside a Bachelor of Social Work, which allows her to bring a holistic, family-centred perspective to her clinical work.

Jess has a strong background in social work and has supported children and families across a variety of roles and settings. This experience informs her thoughtful, collaborative approach to therapy, with a focus on understanding each child within the context of their family, environment and everyday life.

She has a particular interest in early literacy, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Jess is passionate about working with neurodivergent children, supporting them to communicate in ways that are meaningful, empowering and aligned with who they are.

Jess’ approach to care is warm, child- and family-centred, functional and holistic. She values building strong relationships with children and caregivers and works closely with families to support progress that translates into real-life settings such as home, school and the community.

Jess enjoys being part of Ninja Allied Health’s multidisciplinary team and values the opportunity to collaborate with other allied health professionals to provide well-rounded, individualised support for the children and families she works with.
