Rebate options
Medicare
GP Chronic Condition Management Plan
This plan provides your child with up to five Allied Health sessions per calendar year, covering Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and more. A referral from your GP is required, usually arranged when developmental concerns have persisted for six months or longer. Your GP will determine which services and how many sessions best suit your child’s chronic condition. If you receive this referral, please send us a scanned copy before your first appointment so we can invoice you correctly.
Private Health
Rebates for Occupational Therapy and Allied Health sessions vary by provider and level of cover, so please contact your insurer to confirm your entitlement. If you’d like us to bill through your private health policy, let us know and we’ll apply the correct item numbers. We cannot process your rebate on the spot, you’ll receive an invoice which you can use to claim online or in-store. Please note that invoices can be billed to either Medicare or private health insurance, but not both. Many clients choose to use a Medicare referral for their initial sessions and then switch to private health insurance thereafter.
Self-funded
If you don’t have access to Medicare or private health rebates, the full price applies. When you fill in a referral form we will be in touch to learn more and make sure you get the best outcome.
