Merrin

Speech Pathologist

Hi! I’m Merrin. I’m a speech pathologist living and working from Naarm/Melbourne. I have a background in music and a strong interest in all things voice.

I completed my Master of Speech Pathology at the University of Melbourne in 2019, and since then have worked with people all over Australia, delivering services to those in remote communities and in urban centres.

I am delighted to be offering Telehealth speech pathology services through Ninja. Sessions conducted online will include an emphasis on connection and maybe a little music!

I bring experience and passion to my work in these areas:

  • Gender-affirming voice and communication

  • Stuttering treatment for children, adolescents, and adults

  • Speech clarity for children, adolescents, and adults

  • Literacy for children, adolescents, and adults

I work in a neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based way to support clients in designing and working towards their communication goals. I am committed to continued learning and to approaching all interactions with cultural humility and empathy.
